AACA Fall Meet Car Corral -- Hershey, Pa., October 2010

Every October, the Eastern Division Fall Meet of the Antique Automobile Club of America is held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The AACA's Hershey Region serves as host. Tens of thousands of car enthusiasts from far and wide flock to "the chocolate capital of the world" for this occasion. One of the major attractions is the car corral, where cars that are 25 years old or older are offered for sale.

In 2010, the meet was held Oct. 6 through Oct. 9. I visited the car corral on Oct. 8 and took pictures of some cars that caught my eye. Unfortunately, the time I had available on that day was limited, so I am sure I missed many noteworthy automobiles among the many hundreds that were assembled there. But, anyway, here are the ones that I had a chance to photograph.

I shot the photos in this gallery with a handheld Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All are as-is straight from the camera, with no post-processing, except for a few that I cropped or straightened slightly (marked CR or ST in their captions).
