Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance 2 -- Legends ... August 2009

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance brought back a few of the cars that helped make the inaugural show a big success in 1979. Eight of those automobiles are presented here. This set is the second in my series of 11 galleries on the 2009 Meadow Brook Concours, which was held on Aug. 2. More than 200 cars and motorcycles were entered in the Michigan show in 25 classes by collectors from all over the United States and Canada. I shot the photos with my handheld Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-200mm VR zoom. All are as-is, straight from the camera, with no post-processing applied. However, I resized the pictures for online viewing. Note that the images and other content here are protected by copyright laws. All rights are reserved.
