Growing singly in sandy grassy soil with beech, this is a small rare RDL Lepiota, one of a number with concentric brown scales on the cap and rather reddish brown stems. A week later than this it was also recorded at Barrow Hills Everton as a single specimen in a similar sandy location in grass & herbage. 1st Notts record.
