Skeletocutis carneogrisea NFG Foray at Vicar Water, Clipstone 30-9-2018

A fairly uncommon poroid crust fungus, found here on fallen rotten wood. 2nd Notts record, the last being in 2002 at Blidworth Bottoms. Characterized by the white cottony margins and greyish or whitish pores with flesh-pink flush, or sometimes an ochraceous flesh colour.
