3rd August 2005 morning rush hour

Lovely to wake up on the Isle of Harris.
This was the only traffic on the road at 9.am.
It's so lovely and peaceful.
We took the bus into Tarbert,
the biggest town on Harris
and then another bus up to Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.

Well, someone has to get the mail! I once thought the sheep was injured when I saw the red, but someone told me it is a marking (I guess for shearing, huh?)

I met a wonderful Scottish couple on the cruise ship. He told us where he was from but the name was not familiar. He wore a beautiful green kilt to dinner on formal dress nights. Your land is lovely. I must see it one day.
