Tamsin and Conor made dinner again tonight,
as they did last night.
And they cleared away,
They picked out the ingredients too.
All I had to do was slurp a couple of glasses of wine.
Mrs N was hovering about over them,
she doesn't quite trust them I think.
They seem to be growing up fast,
so it's good that they still like to hear me read a story.
They came in while I read to Aiden.
'Tom's Midnight Garden'
I read this when I was about ten or eleven,
it doesn't seem that long ago,
maybe I've not grown up yet either.
