25th November, early flight

There is always something exciting about seeing a plane take off,
we take for granted how much it shrinks the world.
Even so I don't enjoy sitting on a plane,
or queuing up or waiting in lounges,
and this one is probably only off to London or Amsterdam....

A boat is probably a more relaxed way to travel maybe.

Funny we should find the same subject although mine is landing and your's taking off. I saw my plane just as the morning fog was lifting and the sun was rising, very beautiful. Unfortunately I was in an industrial area with a lot of junky things covering my view. Best regards Mark

I agree.. the world falls away and the sky is so immense it's almost frightening in the concept of it. I like this.. the plane moving toward the dark unknown

the plane itself is nice and sharp . . the darkness of night seems almost foreboding . . . nice yellow sunset too . . all in all a good shot . . .wonder what would it look like cropped more off-center?
