This gallery celebrates the creative legacy of the beaver. Over the years I have come to admire beavers and appreciate the habitat beavers create for fish, geese, ducks, elk, deer, moose, song birds, and many other creatures that I am drawn to photograph. These photographs were made in early morning and late afternoon light in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. When Beavers create forest openings, dam streams, and make ponds they greatly enrich the natural world. Votes of favorites, and comments are welcomed.
