Yesterday was the first outing I've had since I got sick, and I discovered that I am more out of shape than I thought! My husband and I took our senior dog with us without the other two dogs, as a special treat. Eleanor, a good friend of mine, who Georgia hasn't seen in a while, met us at the park and I caught the moment when Georgia realized she was reuniting with an old friend.

The shaved rectangle on Georgia's hip is the handiwork of our vet. He wanted to make sure we knew where to inject Georgia's insulin. She has a matching rectangle on her other side.
