This is my new home layout , follow the building from painting the walls to placing building on the layout. the room is size is 14ft X 7ft 6" so not very big but just right for a city scene.
When I had the baseboards up and the track wired I then place all the building on to get a feel of the layout. This takes a fair time as most get moved about before I find the right place for them also I do not ballest the track until I have run trains for some time as I normally find something is not right and needs moving which would be harder to do if it is all fixed down permently.
