Thanks for all the hard work you've put in, the pictures are wonderful, brings back memories. My grandfather was a conductor for many years and retired in it. I was doing some research trying to find some of his con ductor history. My grandfather James L. Morgan worked during the Great Depression until it stopped running the route that went through Goodland KS. The last home he lived in was a block from the tracks. I spent all my summers there. My grandfather was always in his overalls and always had his conductor hat on. I hope I can find more info on his conductor career. If you have any ideas let me know. It looks like he conducted the # 7 train. I believe he worked about 40 years.Thanks again!
