For the Christmas break this year Salome, Joel and I spent a week and a bit in Beijing. Although it got a bit cold some days, the trip was spectacular, especially our 10km hike on the Great Wall. The only let down was that we went to Tiananmen Square for for the comming of the "New Year" - and it was dead - only a handful of foreigners...and police all over patrolling the square.
