In 1967 I had the pleasure of racing against THE OLD TRAPPER. I believe it was a SS/B then. I had a 1967 Firebird 400 SS/DA from Trapp Motors New Westminster BC. We matched raced in Edmonton using the handicap system and we met twice at Arlington Washington. It is a beautiful car and fun to watch.

Car now in Drayton Valley, owned by Jim Baraniuk. Restored to its Old Trapper Status. Can be viewed on the top left of the Drayton Valley raceway Sept 2006 race poster. Great to see the car survived and is back on the track.

By the way, the 67 car was the NHRA national record holder for a year or more with Albert Branham at the wheel.

Yes, that 70 Cuda sold to Gary Wolosinka from Viking. Jim Ronoghan built another Cuda for same SS/DA class.
