I too like the shallow DOF technique you used here. It is amazing how intelligent flowers can be. Staying closed during the day to retain moisture, opening at night to gather moisture from dew.

Amazing use of shallow DOF Dave with the part inside the DOF rendering fantastic sharpness. That Sigma 105 is one fine piece of glass. (Vote)
