Not the greatest example, but this image does show that light painting can be done with the CP5700.

There are different types of painting with light, this is just one example.

Had my mom take red flashlight, told her to do whatever she wanted. She tried making a flower.

I had camera on tripod, set to bulb mode and used the remote.

There was a lot of noise, from shutter being held open, as well as it staying hot down here in Florida even at night.

Since my program was on the other computer, I downloaded demo version of Neat Image and used it. Cropped the image, then made duplicate layer, set it to multiply, faded the opacity to 67%.

I think with more practice and better technique that we could have done better job of it, but learning is always fun! :-)
