I love your pictures with so much detail and beautiful habitat background, I have a Canon 7 D with a 400 f.5.6 lens. I shoot in the automatic mode and so far lack the detail that you are getting. I also purchased a Canon 2.5 teleconverter, but my shots still lack the detail unless I am real close. Can you give me any suggestions? I haven,t learned how to set manually on the iOS or change the depth of field. I use a gitzo tripod to keep my camera steady with the bigger lens. Any suggestions on how to perfect my photography skills? I have a web page where I am trying to start up a brding business for photographers and birders. I also am working on trying to set up a page with a list of all the birds that migrate through the ranch, what season and a photo of them for my birders.
