Terrebonne Parish Schreiver Ducros Plantation

One of the few surviving Greek Revival homes left in Terrebonne Parish, Ducros is the finest example. It was built in 1859 after the style of the Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's Nashville TN home. The home was saved from destruction during the Civil was but served as housing for both Federal and Confederate troops. In 1872 it was sold and known as the Old Jackson Plantation.

Ducros is a private residence and is not open to the public It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
