Amtrak's Crescent uses some of the diners it acquired from the railroads when they took over passenger service. Most of these were built in the 1940's and 1950's. The equipment has been refurbished.

This photo shows the hallway at the end opposite of the seating area. To the right of the hallway is the kitchen area where the food is prepared.
