27 August - Butterfly

It didn't move! But the wind blew the leaf about!

I have started to download a few of my pics to SMUGMUG; I'm beginning
to wonder if Pbase has been abandoned by its owners, with the lack of
response to problems in the forums...I'll stay on Pbase for a while yet
as I can't bear to lose the community we've got here, but Smugmug will be getting my pics too!

I have an account on flickr which I feel offers more security and reliability but is very poor on presentation. I like their idea of pools/groups under given themes, some of which are quite quirky and left field!
I've looked at SmugMug but can't see any comments under your or Mike Gove's pics - are they hidden?
I really don't want to leave PBase but need to paste back the images I have here that were lost on my hard drive crash two years ago!

I'm on Smugmug and Flickr but I will stay on Pbase as well as there are too many friends here. I'm tired of the crap too although this pic is NOT crap at all! Beautiful image, Nicky!

Smugmug eh? Will have to have a looksee. I have a free flickr account, but I HATE it, it's just so unfriendly, counter-intuitive and the layout and presentation are awful! Blech.

Lovely image. Would the powers that be in pbase take note of your comment please? Smugmug and Zenfolio look like good alternatives - but I'd miss the contact base built up here.
