Digital isn't the best medium for night work, especially once it actualy gets dark (instead of dusk), noise is always a bit issue, and avoiding blowing out highlights is tricky too. However, shooting in raw does give you quite a lot of scope to compenstate for exposure and colour / white balance after. This did take a bit of work to get the colour balance and exposure right after. And I used noise ninja to reduce some of the more corse noise.
