On top of the hill, where the chapel stands, next to the forest, is the grave of two german aviators. On the way back from their mission, in a very foggy morning, their plane hit the ground. The two aviators survived the crash, but were very badly wounded. Some time went by, before they were found by some local folk. Despite the care they were given, the aviators have died only couple of days later. The local folk have decided that their grave should be where the plane had crashed. And there, it still is. The aviators were only 23 and 24 years of age.
