We made the hasty decision to visit Hokkaido only about 2 weeks before our departure, and it was a mad rush – to decide which travel package to take up, to apply for my VISA (and all the documents to prepare), to convert our driving licenses, to study the driving route, etc. But all turned out to be worthy of the effort – this is one of our most enjoyable trips!
