This photo was taken from a "vaporetto" (water taxi).
The boat was on the way to Piazza San Marco (St. Marks Square),
traveling in the Giudecca Canal, a large canal separating
Venice and the Island of Giudecca.

The sun was rising. The golden glow can be seen on the buildings at
the left and the sky at the right. It was a magic morning!
