we think we may have one of Manou's paintings. Did he ever paint and oil painting with a setting like thailand or china with boats? The signature is Man Ou. Could this be his? Can maybe send pic if you'd like. Our father acquired painting in the 60's.

Your Father not only had talent as a fine artist but is a man of extrodinary insight.
Of course I enjoyed the clowns however find them all intriguing. Thanks for sharing his wonderful work.

I liked many of the painting by your father. Yes, it is indeed a good idea to share them on the internet and to allow people to see them.

Though this is a very personal decision, I do not see why you cannot sell them. When I bought a painting the artist about said that it gives him great pleasure to see his work in the homes of people. His painting help to make homes more beautiful. Also the homes provide a good setting for the paintings.

Most people who appreciate paintings enough to pay a reasonable amount of money also look after the paintings they buy and usually cherish them. I can understand that you probably have a great emotional attachment to them, but you may want to reconsider and sell them at some point.
