The first flower on my Prickly Pear Cactus. The cactus will have multiple blooms, but each bloom only lasts 24-36 hours and then they close up. Taken with an older manual focus Tamron SP 90mm f/2.5 lens, using a Tamron Adaptall 2 unit and a Rainbow Imaging Minolta to NEX lens adapter. ISO 800. Aperture priority, with a -1/3 manual exposure compensation. Standard color. Automatic white balance. 35mm equivalent focal length of 135mm.
