I live in Blacksburg Va for 15 years, have family still there. But I want my husband and I to move back to Va soon, its a great state. I have always thought Winchester Va was a beautiful and special place and would love to make it our home. Thanks for the great pictures which help me to see more and more places there.

I was borned in Winchester in 1950, lived there briefly and moved to Florida/Southern California (San Clemente). Visited relatives every summer during the 60's/70's. I still go back and remember all the good times...with my relatives...The Roe's. You did an excellent job with the gallery. Winchester will always remain very special to me and I hope to return someday for good.

A certain writer - one of your countrymen - Bill Bryson, has written extensively about Small Town America. His work is very popular over here in the UK. My son graduated from Handley in 2007 and is attending college in Claremont, California. I use your pics at the end of my emails to him to remind him of some of his favorite spots (SW Grill,Daily Grind,etc). I also really like your Handley gallery. Thanks so much.

A fine gallery of Winchester, Naomi. I visited it last year and enjoyed the town, particularly the historic section. My mother-in-law attended high school in Winchester.

Great pictures Naomi. Could you post more pictures of what the city looks like? More homes, streets, mountain views? Something more to give a "feel" of what one would encounter when first coming into Winchester.

i love the pictures. i was born and raised in winchester. i love the archetechture of downtown. i love taking pictures of the people their too. i havent been home in a really long time. it was nice to see some pictures of back home.
