Wonderful mix of clouds and toning, once these wind turbines were a curiosity, now they've become so ubiquitous on the ridgetops of Eastern Washington and Oregon that they should be classed as a form of visual pollution.

This really does have a surrealistic feel...and the caption is great. It is not only pleasing to the eye, but asks questions from the viewers mind. Very well done.

Wonderful image. Like two statues or sentinals standing guard and watching over the earth. I like the sepia look in the image. As I look at this image I ask myself if the blades are silenced by the wind or the lack of it. Or maybe they are silenced by the shutter of the camera as it captured this amazing fleeting moment. Thanks for sharing this with the rest of us.

I like the idea of the passing/moving landscape while the wind propellors appear motionless.
I like too the mood you've generated in tone.
Great shot Naomi
