My daughter Eleanor found this cedar waxwing in a parking lot a few weeks ago. Apparently, he had fallen from the nest in a windstorm, and wasn't quite mature enough to fly.
She took him home and gave him lots of attention and good nutrition. Now he is very healthy and gentle, and seems to have quite a personality for such a little fellow . . . and a huge appetite!
