The Estalagem Rainha D. Leonor is a quality tourist establishment situated in the heart of the
Alto Alentejo region, close to the town of Cabeço de Vide in the district of Portalegre.
Blending the past with the future, the hotel is a typical feature of the surrounding
landscape and offers its guests a distinctive and eminently rustic environment in which
to relax and unwind. The country`s history has played such an important part in our
national identity and the Estalagem Rainha D. Leonor invokes this spirit due to its
location in the building of the former Cabeço de Vide railway station. Out of service for
many years, the station continues to be of immense patrimonial value, a place where
we can see magnificent tiled panels of a rural and floral nature. This collection of
buildings was recently fully renovated and transformed into a hotel with 6 rooms.
