It was near full-moon when this was shot four hours after dark. You can clearly see the stars in the upper right of the image. This scene has been shot thousands of times by hordes of photographers over the years, making it difficult to find a place to set up your tripod in the early morning. Thankfully, only one other photographer was present when this was taken.
