A profile in the lives of the mustang family. The mother with a young colt doze as a the stallion stands watching the rival males nearby. Notice the bloody wound on his forehead, a sign that the stallion has been valiant in the defense of his right to father the young offspring of the mares in his band.

That poor stallion is covered in wounds. I wonder if he lost some of his mares and this one chose to stay with him. You are doing an incredible job of documenting the lives of these horses. Voted.
