The flag's vital. Without it this would be a much duller image. I even like the fact that it's clearly not a new flag. The only thing I thing could have improved it is more light on the pole. I'm assuming that's sunlight illuminating the top of it. Perhaps worth revisiting at a different time of day?

Ain't thiose wideangles great. Love the idea and execution of this one. Clean and simple, with an abstract graphical touch. I'm wondering if it wouldn't have been even stronger without the flag...maybe...

Agreed - the composition is excellent. I also like the colour contrast and impression of dynamic movement of the flag.

Very cool idea. I like the framing and comp of the shot. Also, using perspective to create the strong diagonals leading to the well lit focal point is terrific. Maybe the flag pole could be just a *very tiny bit* lighter to give more separation from the sky on the right.
