Birds Are Gone by jerrydd

Another angle on my lonely tree, this time with a simple foreground. The mellow browns remind me of the serenity, solitude and warmth of old age in contrast to the dark energy of the restless storm. .. kind of like a warm, but lonely heart in a cold world. If trees could talk, what stories would they tell.

I actually like this one much better. I thought the other image had to many distractions (the orange traffic thingy for one). I'm not sure that this fits the topic as the tree seems majestic more so than abandoned. But is it a superb image.
