Long Legged Molly by John down under

Clare, South Australia

This shot of Molly looking out the window of the cottage we rented for a few days in the Clare Valley here in South Australia creates the illusion that her back legs are stretching all the way to the floor inside the cottage. With her compact legs, of course that is not true. ;o)

Thanks Assar. You should see her tail too. :o) Perhaps your master should be careful to keep his legs away from you when you are in the mood for checking out Molly. ;o) Cheers, John

Thanks to those who stopped by to offer comment on this Canon shot. What the ...!?!?! OK, I'm not one to knock cameras from other manufacturers as I think there's a place for everything and Canon undeniably offers many choices to cover a variety of requirements, and in this case the Canon A80 did a good job of helping me to capture Molly at the moment you see above. :o)

For Ser, I can see the glasses (cool sunglasses of course ;o)) on Molly's chest, but I'm not so sure about another dog wearing them. Maybe if you tell me what substance was helping your perception I would be in a stronger position to make that judgement! ;o) I think I'm getting a sense of where your idea of optical illusions came from. ;o) Actually, as I've thought all along right from your shot of painting the world, you are very good at seeing things that others will also find appealing, even teasing us with glasses of juice! LOL

For Claudio, Molly doesn't realise she's so short, especially when Jenny and I help her to stand tall. In fact, I'm not sure she even realises she's a dog and we're not! I know that you have a similar thing going on in your house. :o)

Cheers, John

If you look at her chest, slightly closing your eyes you will see another dog face with glasses, good effect, maybe is one of her ancestors tattoo?

G'day Ser. No pitbull here. We rescued Molly from the pound. As far as we can tell, she's a cross between a Staffordshire bull terrier, beagle and some other things thrown in for good measure! Anyway, unlike Molly with her wine glass, this shot is not a result of Photoshop trickery. My wife was crouched down on the other side of the wall holding Molly up for a good look outside. Cheers, John

Wow! isn;'t it a Pitbull? She sure looks taller and intimidating.
Thanks
