g'day again cbses - yup - the increased saturation does the job - good one! - a revisit is always goodness - even at different times of the day. thanx.

Appreciate your comments - bumped the saturation and I think your right. You're right about running out of pixels - maybe I can revisit the site, get a bit closer and concentrate on the texture. again, thanks

g'day cbses - compositionally, to me this image works wonderfully - the dark background gives it that dramatic touch. I think you ran out of pixels on the barn? - but not sure. i'd also be really tempted to saturate/over-saturate the barn to balance the black?? thanks

Took your suggestion and played with isolating the shutters. I liked the possibility there, but I didn't have the resolution to make it work. Might be worth a re-shoot.

Many elements in this pic that refer to textures. I would have choosen one to focus on : one of the wooden blinds (they seem magnificently worn out). Still a good entry.
