Beautiful shot; the reflections in the water are quite stunning.

Tom, it's one thing to meet the category criteria and it's another to have it be a photo you'd want to hang on your wall. Nice job doing both!

I usually think of flower shots as a nice, but almost no brainer subject - nail the focus and you have a decent shot. But you really brought something special to this one. Well done.

Tom,
You Truly gilded the lily on this one. I love the high contrast, extremes in color and luminance without looking at all artificial.

The water seams to me like kind of black plastic... Cool!

g'day Tom - a really striking image, well composed - for me there is a flower on the water, and one in the water (reflections). I read Alains comment - and if you could remove the colour of the top green leaves, leaving the lily as is - it could trasnform it into a stunning image. thanks.

Hi Tom,

The blackness and the reflections in it is what make this shot! The contrast with the delicate flower and the leaf really make it stand out. Very nice

Wonderfull shot, Tom. Though I wonder if the image would have gained impact without the green.

Nice image. I like the contrast between the blackness of the water (looks almost as oil) and the colours of the flower.Well done.

Tom, how many adjectives are there to describe your work? There is not enough! Great shot.
