Tree at Uluru by M. Scott Cole

Two totally different textures, yet identical color palletes.
From the sight of one of my images in the prior exhibition, ULURU in the Red Centre of Australia, comes this image. The color scheme match of tree bark to rock just amazed me while walking around the base of this Aboriginal holy sight, and this seemed to be the perfect example of it.

nice contrasting textures - it's interesting that the two structures are almost the same colour and the lighting is fairly even, so the contrast in the textures is pretty much essential for the image to work. deceptively simple - i like it!

Hi,
I think that a litle bit more of contrast between the bench and the rocks would be better (just a thoutgh :-))
