5th: "African Art" by Rodney

I attended the Afr'Am festival this weekend. It is a huge, yearly festival.
To my disappointment, most of the participants were not dressed in traditional, African attire (unlike those who attend the Native American and Asian festivals).
But, some of the participants were doing interesting things, such as this artist. Any advice or comments are appreciated!

Hi Rodney, What better that the gesture of painting to represent the "touch of color" theme? You can also interpret it as art bringing color in everyday life.. but leaving aside all the interpretations this is a very nice image where the selective color works very well. The color part does indeed have a threedimensional feeling of sort. Well done Claudio

I like the way you selected the colors, it gives the impression of standing a little in front of the portrait. Hope you understand what i meen, my english is far from perfect..

Hi Rodney The Wizard! Great pic. I love the way you have coloured the paint in this way and find yoru pic very interesting and striking. I find the chair a bit distracting. However, great interpretation of the theme. Cheers, John
