Well... I don't know the link between Beethoven [or Schiller who wrote the poem] and Sofia except that the tune may be the European Anthem, which was based in the Beethoven theme, and may be linked with the removal of Soviet rule. The lower sharp in the key signature should be on the C rather than the B. Nigel
