It is said, “Once the seeds of cottonwood trees (Populus freemontii) open, the fluffy "cotton" emerges in great tufts and flies through the air.” Boy do they have that right! Sometimes it can look like it’s snowing in July. This image is an example of the seeds gathering in a juniper.
