Evan, I just followed the instructions on the Details West paperwork that comes with. The old Athearn windows are trimmed away and a file or coarse sanding stick is used to widen the opening to accept the etched metal DW parts. A little thin CA and matching paint and you are ready to insert some clear styrene pieces behind the DW pieces. - Rob
