I was at the Angels Flight funicular railway in Los Angeles. It got me interested and I learned that it was a funicular. I took a couple of weeks until it dawned on me that the song "funiculii, funicular" was in some way connected. I will now have to look up all of the words. Thanks

I am a music teacher in Carol stream Illinois using your picture as support for the jolly italian song "Funiculi Funicula." The students really enjoyed seeing what a funicular railway looks like and it helped them enjoy and understand the song better.

Very nice picture indeed! I've loved the funicular since I was a child and can't stop admiring the engineer work here...it was built in the early 20's and opened to the public in 1925.Thanks for your photographs! See you
