These photos were taken on a trip with Overseas Adventure Travel in September, 2004. We visited Beijing, Xi'an, Wuhan, Chengdu; then up to Lhasa, Tibet and ending up in Hong Kong; traveling by bus, train, plane, and even on foot. We were amazed at the size of the cities and the traffic density in our few sorties across countryside. We expected gazillions of bicycles, but there were only a few, not as many as here at home. As a result, driving is very low on my list of things I'd like to do when I return to this wonderful country, eating very high on that list.
