Two visits, a week apart in early autumn, as I scouted for an early-summer outing with our native plant society group, were my first times at this sparkling treasure in southeast Idaho. I hoped to bring back more photos in 2014, but discovered when I got there that a large phosphate mining company was in the process of devastating the entry road (at least) in the process of converting the water delivery system from a lovely aqueduct to a huge concrete pipe. The road was closed during the daylight hours, and I didn't want to stay to see the damage. No more ouzels on THAT waterway!
