April 6, 2013 -- Paul and Rutn endured a breezy chill just below the Buckskin Road summit to enjoy nostalgic views of the former Caribou ski runs to the south, and an enticing ring of yellow bells (Fritillaria pudica) on the sunnier slope across the road. The undulating ripples of shrubs echoed the topography on a smaller scale.
