Taktshang Goemba, the Tiger's Nest Monastery, is perched on the side
of a sheer cliff high above Paro. Our hike involved a 1200' altitude
climb to a tea house, another 600' altitude climb to an overlook, and
finally rickety stairs down a valley, across a foot bridge, and
back up the adjacent mountain to the monastery.

Only two of our group of six made it all the way to the monastery as tired
legs and the potential for falling were too much for the rest.
