South Korea 1972 - 1973

I was assigned to South Korea 1972-1973 at Camp Humphreys in Pyongtaek. This gallery contains photos of scanned slides taken while in Korea. This area today doesn’t resemble in any way to how it looked during my one year tour there in the 70’s. It’s remarkable that the local off post area now looks like a modern American city. The post had many Quonset hut buildings when I arrived. While there, some minor modern building construction was started. Today the installation is built up and resembles any major stateside military installation.
