to GEORGE: we may well have been sitting across from each other at dinner! i was there at the same time (generally) and am the same age. we lived in wiesbaden and took a train to garmisch. there was a big slot car track that my brother and i used to spend all day at LOL while mom and dad went golfing...THANX LIONEL

Bless you and thank for sharing.No one should come out the alps without a divine reverence. I was in second grade 1967 when I first saw them.Last time I was there was in high school and my dad was transferred to Italy.PS My favorite part of the Patton hotel was dinner when you got to watch the chef net the live trout of your choice out the aquarium and prepare it before your very eyes.
