Great shot of this wet osprey! I bet you were more excited to see this than the park workers.

Great catch. Those wings look like they could produce lots of lift, though I guess they are hiding the meal right now?
Steve Thuman14-Dec-2009 03:01
He'll be a happy bird after that meal!

Super capture, Mark! Nice to see those great wings up close.

Wow, great one Mark, who'd have thought you would find an Osprey in the middle of San Diego.

A wonderful catch. Nature at work, and it's what happens.

Reminds me of the time I thought Iwould view a nature show with my young daughters. It happened to be about wild dogs and I was forced to change channels by some crying little girls. Don't know what I changed to, so much for my efforts at educational TV. LOL

This is really a marvelous shot of an osprey. They are beautiful birds. I am sure someone is unhappy at losing their koi.

"All the king's horses, and all the king's men, couldn't put that Koi together again. . . ."

P.S. - Laura says to tell you she liked the shot.

Wow, how much more lens do you need! You've got full frame. Amazing catch on a rainy day. Linda S
