I had the opportunity to do some work in Oberkochen, Germany last year. This shot was made late one night (early one morning) after returning to the hotel from our work. No one was standing at reception, I had my camera, and I liked the way the pewter deer head on the red wall looked behind the red desk. It wasn't until I processed the image that I saw how the shadow on the wall approximated the shape of a stag! I like how even now my eye sees more than my mind grasps in the instant, allowing me to be surprised by the images I make.

Makes me wonder how the brain feels after a long day at the office, the red office.

Good find. You and the desk are so tiny in the reflection.

Everything's just enough non-symmetrical to give it an appealing tension.

Outstanding! It really works for me. Love the bright vibrant colors and the selective use of DOF. GMV
